Captain · pilot
Captain Jake.
Absolutely sure it’ll work.
A big plan, a bigger burst of confidence, and occasionally a door that had a perfectly good handle.

BEHIND THE HELMET
A little about Captain Jake.
Bold, enthusiastic and convinced his crew can do the impossible. His courage is real; his sense of when to stop needs a little work.
THE ROAD TO OUTPOST 81
Jake pushed his team too hard. Their next posting was Outpost 81: a banishment shared by the whole crew, and a consequence he cannot fly away from on confidence alone.
He still believes in the people around him. When the alarms start, his instinct is to take charge, get moving and make an entrance—or an exit. Sometimes the sensible next step is a suit. Sometimes, apparently, it is coffee.
